The HyperX Cloud Stinger are wired-only and can't be used wirelessly. The HyperX Cloud Stinger are somewhat better gaming headphones than the Turtle Beach Recon 500. The audio reproduction is slightly more accurate on the Corsair, and they feel better-built. Does it handle the fundamentals well enough to compete with other budget headsets? Most of the leakage is concentrated in the mid-range, which is also where lead instruments and vocals lay. The Alpha feel noticeably better-built and durable, on top of being more comfortable during long gaming sessions. The HyperX Cloud Stinger offers good isolation for a pair of over-ear headphones. The HyperX Cloud Stinger are better performing gaming headphones than the HyperX Cloud Core thanks to their controls and slightly better sound quality. And if you want a pair of cans in pink, you now have another quality option at an attainable price. The HyperX Cloud Stinger are decent for phone calls.
