Avista provided a large room, a restaurant and ease of maneuvering around the resort for her wheelchair. Depending on which unit you choose, the bedroom will have either a king bed or two extra-long double beds, nightstand, chest, and a flat-screen TV. After all, no one wants to waste any time away from fun in the sun when vacationing at the beach. Guests can get snacks and simple fare at the pool bar from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily during the season. Awesome experience. Pleasant accomodations and amenities, ocean nearby, very nice place stayed there a few times always go with elliott rentals. We love the family atmosphere and traditions at Myrtle Beach! The Avista has great condo's and good food also magnificent views. Our room was very clean with one of the best oceanfront views I have ever seen! Other than those minor things, our stay was amazing!! We enjoyed everything about our 8 day stay. The Avista is wonderful. We stay there every year for about the last 10 yrs now. The lunch and dinner menu features an array of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, pasta and desserts. I really enjoyed the wax museum also! Avista Resort in North Myrtle Beach looked nice and clean but, it hides a secret that they dont tell you. Guests take their card to the "DVD NOW" automated DVD rental system located in the lobby, where they can peruse the available DVDs and make their selection.

Have stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed. It measures 3 feet deep. There were 4 adults & 3 teenager/children. Couldn't ask for more . Wonderful time. Avista Resort has a 24-hour (with key card access) fitness center outfitted with ellipticals, treadmills, stationary bikes, free weights and dumbbells. Tubes are provided, but are allowed only in the lazy river.

The arrangements were easily made for us to stay and play several rounds of golf. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are great however, the outdoor pool can be crowded during the summer. Beach Guests are permitted to park at the hotel to load and unload their belongings. Hotel pool towels are not permitted on the beach. Towel service is provided for all pool areas; however, please note that towels are held at the front desk during the off-season. We are already planning our trip back for next summer.

We've been to the Avista with family in a two bedroom oceanfront room. These activities include: kids corn hole tournaments, wacky relay races, pool noodle toss, and Smores by the shore! DVD Rentals The resort was pretty fantastic. Coffee is about $2 with free refills until 11 a.m. In addition, some lounge chairs, along with a few tables and umbrellas, are set up on a sandy "beach" adjacent to the exterior pool deck. Great location. Would definitely recommend! The breakfast buffet is $9.80 for adults, $5 for children ages 3 to 7 and free for children younger than 3. Everything was a perfect score. Third, The couch we had was very uncomfortable and outdated. The staff was very pleasant, the girls at the desk knew what they were doing very sufficient and kind, the rooms were clean and everything in place, the pool was clean and the surroundings, the music or DJ or band by the pool was great.
